The questions buyers ask first
What is the minimum order quantity?
MOQ is 500 units per model for a standard device in MLAY packaging. For private-label orders that need custom tooling, artwork or a bespoke colourway, the minimum rises to 1,000–3,000 units depending on what is being changed.
Trial orders below MOQ can sometimes be arranged for a first shipment — talk to your territory agent.
Can we get samples before committing?
Yes. Samples ship within 3–5 working days from stock. Sample units are charged at unit price plus freight, and the cost is credited against your first bulk order.
Where a device needs your branding on the sample, allow 10–15 days for artwork and tooling.
How far can the device be customised?
Four levels, in ascending order of MOQ and lead time:
- Logo and packaging — your mark on the device and a fully bespoke retail box.
- Colourway — housings in your Pantone reference.
- Firmware — energy steps, interface language, flash sequence.
- Tooling — a new housing shape, which requires a mould investment.
Which certifications transfer to our brand?
Device-level approvals — CE, RoHS, FCC, PSE, KC and SASO among others — are held against the hardware and cover units you sell under your own label, provided the electronics and housing are unchanged.
What does not transfer automatically is anything naming the legal manufacturer or importer on the label. If you become the importer of record in your market, that registration is yours to hold, and we supply the technical file to support it.
Do you accept factory audits?
Yes. We host buyer audits and third-party inspections — SGS, BV, TÜV and Intertek have all been through the Shenzhen facility. Book through your territory agent with about two weeks’ notice.
